COLOURING-IN
WITH PATTERN & FABRIC -
2 day workshop.

Description: This is a class for contemporary quilt
lovers. Take a simple abstract design, then colour-in
with pattern, then with fabric, to make a quilt unique
to you. Design choices will be a large part of this class,
and imaginations will be thrown into top gear! Not as
difficult as it may sound.
We will think small for this quilt, and get you started
on a new way of quilt designing. Techniques taught in
class will cover: scaling-up designs to full size tops;
construction of design to fabric; using colour to add
depth to your quilt tops. As imaginations don't always
kick-in when required, three simple abstract designs will
be supplied for class participants' use. How to create
your own abstract designs will be discussed.
