Hello, it is nice to have you visit my quilt world.

This medium of internet allows viewing a ‘Show and Tell’ anytime we wish. Always been my favourite at my local Guild meetings! After twenty plus years of making quilts, the colours, fabrics, designs and imagination that quilters use amaze me still.

Though the ‘Art World’ may consider our quilts to be a ‘Craft’ rather than fine art. What is the act of creating with our hands a quilt for family, friends, or charity, other than the ‘Art of giving’? I don’t know about you but I consider that every quilt made is ‘ART from the heart’ and we quilt makers are Quilt Artists.

Thank you to all that email me with questions or nice remarks about my quilts. It is always pleasurable to have my quilts praised and enjoyed by my fellow artists.

Quilters seem to be a sharing, caring and happy lot. Whenever and wherever they get together there always seems to be lots of laughter and much talking about our common passion with colour and fabric.

We appreciate each and every style of quilt. I guess because we all recognise the time and love that goes into each one. All I can say is, long may it continue! I can’t imagine a World without quilts in it. Can you?

After all, we are following the tradition laid down by ‘The Master Quilter’ that created our Planet Earth, certainly, ‘Art from the heart’ a special gift for us.
